Autofiller

How can we help?

Everything you need to get your next batch going.

Getting started

What does Autofiller do?

Autofiller submits generated responses to forms you own or have permission to test. Choose a response count and answer preferences, then follow the batch from your dashboard. These are generated answers, not real survey participants.

How do I start a batch?

Make a copy of your form, share it with Autofiller as an Editor, and paste its responder link. Connect and analyze the form, choose random or weighted answers, then select Start.

Why should I use a copy?

A copy keeps generated responses separate from your original survey data. Autofiller does not delete existing responses or stop other people from submitting, so keep the copy’s responder link private while your batch runs.

Can I skip onboarding?

Yes. Open your dashboard and select New batch whenever you’re ready. You can always start again without repeating the introduction.

Connecting your form

Who should I share my form with?

In the form editor, open Share, add autofillerr@gmail.com, and choose Editor. Then return to Autofiller and select Connect and analyze. Sharing responder access alone is not enough.

Which link should I paste?

Use your published responder link. Both forms.gle short links and full Google Forms links work. The form must be published and accept responses without requiring sign-in.

Why can’t Autofiller connect?

Check that the shared address is spelled correctly, has Editor access, and that the form is published. If sharing is restricted by your organization, use a permitted account or ask its administrator.

Which questions work?

Common choice, checkbox, dropdown, text, scale, date, time, and grid questions are supported by the runner. Some question types may not offer weighting controls. File uploads, sign-in restrictions, and CAPTCHA-protected forms are not supported.

Does Autofiller lock my form?

No. Other people can still submit if they have access. Autofiller tracks its own confirmed submissions rather than treating the form’s total response count as your batch result.

Answer preferences

What is the difference between random and weighted?

Random gives available choices equal selection chances. Weighted lets you make some choices more likely than others. Connect and analyze your form first to see the available controls.

Can I describe the answers I want?

Yes. In Weighted mode, describe your preferences using the question and option names. Apply the instructions, then review the resulting weights before starting.

Will the percentages be exact?

Weights guide selection across responses. Small batches can differ from the requested percentages, and a 50/50 preference does not guarantee an exact split. Set a choice to 100% when every response should use it.

Can I edit a batch after it starts?

A running batch uses the settings saved when it started. Cancel it and create a new batch to use different preferences. Responses already submitted remain in your form.

Progress and results

Can I close the tab while it runs?

Yes. Batches run on our worker, so you can close the tab and return later. Enable completion emails in Settings if you’d like a notification.

How long does a batch take?

Timing depends on the number of responses, question types, form sections, and queue. The dashboard shows elapsed time and confirmed submissions. Larger batches take longer.

What happens when I cancel?

Autofiller stops the batch as soon as it can. A response already being submitted may finish first. Confirmed responses remain, and unused reserved credits return to your balance.

What if a batch stops early?

The result shows how many responses were submitted. You only use credits for confirmed successes; unused reservations return to your balance. Check the form’s access and required questions before trying again.

Where can I see my responses?

Open the batch on your dashboard for its result, or check the Responses tab in your form editor. Autofiller leaves your existing responses untouched.

How do I download a CSV?

Open a batch and choose Download CSV. The file includes recorded answers and timestamps for successful submissions. Columns use the form’s field IDs; unavailable answer captures are marked explicitly.

Why didn’t I get a completion email?

Check that batch notifications are enabled in Settings and look in spam or promotions. Emails go to your account address. The dashboard remains the source of truth if an email is delayed.

Credits and billing

How do credits work?

One credit pays for one successful response. Credits are reserved when a batch starts, then used as responses succeed. Failed submissions do not use credits.

How many free responses do I get?

Your free allowance refreshes to five responses at midnight UTC each day. Unused free responses do not carry over. Purchased credits stay separate from this daily allowance.

How do I buy more credits?

Open your balance and select Buy credits. Choose a pack and complete the secure checkout. Autofiller is pay as you go, with no subscription.

Where can I see what I’ve spent?

Open Billing details from the balance popover or account menu. Recent activity shows one entry per batch, including its response count and total credits used, plus your credit purchases.

My payment succeeded but credits haven’t appeared. What now?

Give the payment confirmation a moment to arrive, then refresh Billing details. Don’t purchase again just to retry. Keep your payment receipt if you need help.

Account and privacy

What information does Autofiller store?

We store your account details, form link and analyzed structure, batch settings, and captured generated answers. Connecting reads form questions; it does not import existing survey responses. Editor access is broader than the information our connection flow reads.

Can I revoke form access?

Yes. Remove autofillerr@gmail.com from the form’s Share settings. Cancel active batches first. Revoking access does not erase responses already submitted or data already saved in Autofiller.

How do I manage notifications?

Open Settings and turn Email me when a batch finishes on or off, then save. This controls batch-result emails; account security and payment messages are separate.

Can I change my email or password?

Password accounts can request a verified email change in Settings and use the password reset link. Google accounts use their connected Google identity and do not need a separate Autofiller password.

How do I delete my account?

Finish or cancel active batches, then request deletion in Settings. Follow the email link and confirm. Deletion removes your Autofiller account, batch history, saved answers, and remaining credits. It does not delete responses from Google Forms.
